Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Talkgrid has no account, no tracking and no analytics. Nothing you do in the app is sent to the developer.
What stays on your devices
The conferences you add, your stars, notes, reminder choices, hidden rooms and tracks, and your watchlist are stored in the app on your device.
iCloud
If iCloud is on, that data and the schedules it needs sync through the private database of your own iCloud account, so your devices stay the same. Apple handles this under its own terms. The developer of Talkgrid cannot read that database.
What the app connects to
- Schedule servers. Talkgrid downloads schedules, logos and speaker photos from the servers of the conferences you add, and from known conference servers when you search them or use the watchlist. Like any website, those servers can see your IP address and when you connected. Their own privacy policies apply.
- apps.zwarts.work. When you search known servers, at most once a day, Talkgrid downloads a server list from https://apps.zwarts.work/talkgrid/servers.json. That server and its host can see your IP address when it does.
Keep Up to Date lets you stop schedule checks for a conference.
Notifications
Reminders and alerts are created on your own devices. Your iPhone sends your Apple Watch what it needs directly.
Children
Talkgrid collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Deleting a conference removes it from your devices. Its notes, stars and schedule wait 30 days in case you add it again, then go for good. Deleted notes can be restored in Settings, My Notes. Deleting the app removes what is on that device. You can remove the iCloud data in the Settings app, under your name, iCloud.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date.
